Who needs a Change Control Service

 

Purpose

In all endeavors change exist as a fact of life. Without some change analysis you cannot understand the implications of the decisions you are making and if they are in line with your organization’s expectations. Change control is essential in order to maintain a baseline against which all expectations, including stakeholder expectation, are measured. Without such a baseline there can be no control and cost and schedule will grow and be uncontainable.

The purpose of the Change Control Service is to engage the program team to ensure specific program deliverables are adhered to and any deviation and their resultant impact is formally agreed to by the appropriate stakeholders. This service will provide policies, procedures, and templates in a workshop environment, enabling a specific program or an entire program management office to implement a change control board and change control procedures.
